Die weibliche Kameradschaft nimmt in Kerers Erinnerungen eine Zentrale Rolle ein, half ihr doch dieser Zusammenhalt, dass der Schrecken des Krieges und der deutschen Besatzung ihr nicht zu nahe kam. \u201cDie Verdr\u00e4ngungsstrategie war in der Kriegssituation selbst wohl \u00fcberlebenswichtig und wirkte welt \u00fcber die Zeit des Krieges hinaus\u201d, schreibt die Historikerin Siglinde Clementi im nachwort des Buches<\/p>\n
